Full-time Room & Board
Women in the program receive full-time access to room and board, including meals and related resources. Participants live together, sharing household chores and cooking responsibilities. Group Sessions The minimum 90-days requires participants to complete a life-recovery curriculum that covers a wide range of topics in a group setting, from parenting education, to living with addiction, interpersonal communication, and anger management. Participants also have access to trauma-informed programming such as Seeking Safety, an evidence-based curriculum that focuses on trauma, substance abuse, and mental health issues. Peer Support Support from others who have specialized training and/or lived experience in a criminal justice context. Individualized Case Management All participants work one-on-one with a case manager to develop goals, determine a home plan, and address issues on an individual basis. Participants are subject to random drug and alcohol screens. Referrals to Community Resources We make referrals for participants who need outside resources such as licensed counseling, health care providers, peer support specialists, and community groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Employment Assistance Individuals will have access to employment advice, and help with finding a nearby job. All program participants are subject to a combination of mandatory drug screens, case management, group sessions, and referrals to human services agencies.
