Racial Equality Statement 

The word "gemeinschaft" means community, and we are dedicated to justice and the equal and respectful treatment of all so that our society might one day be the “beloved community” envisioned by the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The board and staff of Gemeinschaft Home condemn racism in all its forms, and we support all efforts to change institutions and policies to eliminate racism. Now more than ever we must respond to the grievances of victims of hate and discrimination. 

We encourage our colleagues and friends who stand with all those subjected to the evils of racism and inequality to vigorously support (via volunteerism and/or financial support) organizations and agencies that work on behalf of racial and social justice.
